Full Moon in Libra. 4.6.23.

Happy Full Moon in Libra, beautiful souls!

And happy Passover and Holy Week too. <3

I hope you’re all taking care good care of yourselves and getting lots of rest in what may be feeling like an extra-tender Full Moon week for many of us, with wounded healer Chiron taking center stage again in this week’s astrology—pulling focus to old wounds as opportunities for healing. Let’s get into what it all means and how to work with the energy.

With the Moon intimately connected with our emotional (as well as physical) bodies, Full Moons have a way of bringing lots of emotions to the fore, and this week’s Full Moon in Libra is no exception. With today’s Full Moon in Libra happening exactly opposite wounded healer Chiron (which was “cazimi,” aka exactly conjunct the Sun, yesterday)—this Full Moon offers an invitation to witness the wounds coming to the surface now for awareness and healing, particularly when it comes to relationships, which Libra rules, as well as the healing we’ve been doing in this realm in recent months.

Meanwhile, a Chiron cazimi doesn’t just pull focus to wounds in need of healing—it’s also an infusion of energy and light into our inner healer, supercharging our healing powers not just this week but for a new cycle ahead. It invites us to tune into our inner healer and to become conscious of the ways we serve as healers for those we’re in relationship to across our lives, as well as the relationships that have been healing for us in recent months.

Along with relationships, Libra is associated with balance. And with Chiron in Aries, the sign opposite to Libra, this energy also invites us to witness any healing we’ve been doing by bringing that which has been out of balance back into balance. It’s an invitation to reflect on what we’ve been learning about how illness (dis-ease) comes from imbalance—and how, on the flip side, balance itself can be healing medicine. How have we been learning to heal ourselves (and possibly others) by bringing that which has been out of balance back into balance?

With the Aries/Libra polarity pulling focus to self/other, and how we’re doing when it comes to balancing the two poles, this could also be an invitation to take stock of any work we’ve been doing around codependency and people-pleasing, for folks who resonate with those Libran tendencies (I sure do!)—and how well we’ve been doing when it comes to showing up for and being our authentic selves in relationships of various types. Wounds coming to the surface for awareness now may remind us of any unconscious fears we hold that we won’t be loved if we show up as who we really are.

At the collective level, with Libra associated not just with relationships and balance but also with law and justice, this Full Moon also has me thinking a lot about how how social justice work is healing work—and what it looks like for us as individuals to step up as healers of a society that is deeply off-kilter and whose many imbalances (power, money, etc. etc. etc.) lead to social ills that in turn make so many of our society’s members sick.

To that end. . . here, with love (and all the healing vibes), I’m sharing the prompts for the 7-card tarot spread I crafted to work with the highest vibrations of this week’s Full Moon in Libra x Chiron energy in case you feel called to see where they take you as well. And, as with all horoscopes, take what resonates and leave the rest!

XOXO,

Rebecca

  3. What has been coming to light about my power as a healer for those I’m in relationship to in my life?

  5. How have I been learning to heal myself (and/or others) by bringing that which has been out of balance back into balance? What have I been learning about balance as healing medicine, and as core to my health and wellbeing?

  6. What healing have I been doing around codependency and people pleasing? Where do I still have work to do?

  7. What has been coming to light for me about the connections between my own healing, my capacity to be a healer of myself and others, and the myriad forms of healing our off-kilter society so urgently needs?
