Aquarius eclipse. 2.17.26

Today, February 17, 2026, the first Aquarius eclipse in a multi-year story lands.

And with it, a major turning point in an ongoing shift in collective consciousness—and the battle of imaginations for what kind of society we want to be.

If you’re reading this, you’re a lightworker here to do the inner work to play your part in shaping what comes next.

So here's your energy brief to help you align and move through it without losing your center.

Eclipse season = destiny acceleration.

First, a little background on eclipse energy.

It’s often said that eclipses bring beginnings and endings. But that doesn’t quite do justice to what eclipse portals bring.

Eclipses are new and full moons that take place near the moon’s nodes, which in astrological terms are destiny points.

So you can think of eclipses as cosmic audit points. They expose where we’ve been negotiating with misalignment. Where we’ve made emotional compromises. And where we’ve upheld contracts that no longer match who we are becoming.

Unlike the average new/full moon, eclipses aren’t times for manifestation… they’re moments when we get re-routed by the universe. They accelerate what was already in motion.

Eclipses bring systemic recalibration. Destiny acceleration. Timeline shifts. And revelations of truth.

Old ways of being become no longer sustainable. Relationships that were already fracturing reach a verdict. Career paths and jobs built on obligation or outdated self-concepts start to collapse. Inner stirrings we’ve felt for a while can no longer be ignored. Opportunities arrive that feel disruptive—but inevitable.

So as we head into the two-week eclipse portal that runs Feb. 17th—March 3rd…. here are some questions to sit with as we witness what comes up:

·    Where have I been out of alignment?

·    What truths have I been explaining away?

·    What have I been tolerating that my nervous system is telling us is unsustainable?

·    And where am I being directed for the chapter ahead?

Eclipse season isn’t a time to try to force clarity…. Instead, trust the universe and observe what’s ready to come to an end—and what you’re being called to begin.

Trust that endings where they come now are in service of your highest and best good… even if you can’t see it yet. Meanwhile, signs and messages about where you’re called into new beginnings are worth paying extra attention to now—because that may be where the universe is sending you next.

Aquarius eclipse —> Welcome to the WE era

The Aquarius eclipse happening this week is the first activation point in a sequence that runs through 2028.

It marks the launch of the Aquarius/Leo eclipse story—which calls us to integrate I and WE. Individual identity and community solidarity. Self-expression with awarenessthatwe’re in this together. Leadership and interdependence.

Integrated, the Leo + Aquarius doesn’t ask: “How do I shine?” It asks: “How does shining my light serve the collective?”

This integration teaches us differentiated unity—the kind of consciousness that understands we are individuals in separate bodies AND that we are interconnected too.

The old paradigm: “How can I be a star?”

The emerging paradigm: “How can I show up courageously and lead in service of the whole?”

How to align with it

First, notice where you still operate from spotlight energy. Where are you trying to be seen? Where are you trying to be validated? Where can performance give way to contribution and serving the whole?

Second, ask: Where does my voice serve something larger than my own personal story?

Pay special attention to:

·    New communities forming

·    Leadership roles emerging—and how your leadership style is shifting

·    Shifts in how you use your voice

·    Invitations to collaborate rather than perform

Leo x Aquarius is an initiation into WE consciousness.

Not self-abandonment. Not martyrdom. But conscious, intentional, courageous leadership channeled towards the good of the collective.

Timeline check

Two-week eclipse portals come in pairs (this one is the Aquarius eclipse on February 17 and a Virgo eclipse on March 3rd that I’ll come back and say more about later this month)—but they occur over a multi-year time horizon.

Pay attention to what activates in your life over the next couple of weeks; the shifts that begin now (inner as well as outer) are part of a longer reorientation occurring between now and 2028.

Key dates in the Aquarius/Leo series:

·    February 17, 2026 (Aquarius)

·    August 12, 2026 (Leo)

·    February 6, 2027 (Aquarius)

·    August 2, 2027 (Leo)

·    August 17, 2027 (Aquarius)

·    January 26, 2028 (Aquarius)

·    July 6, 2028 (Aquarius)

Mantra for the Aquarius-Leo series

“I offer my courage in service of the whole.”

How to stabilize your system.

Eclipses amplify the voltage our systems run. But the move isn’t to “do more.” The move is to hold your field. Here’s your cheat sheet:

1. Sleep is strategy.

During eclipses, timelines reorganize. Your nervous system often processes this before your intellect does. If you override fatigue, you override integration, which is what our energy systems do when we sleep.

So: Go to bed earlier. Nap if your body asks. Cancel non-essential output.

Listening to your body and giving it the rest it needs isn’t laziness. It’s energy conservation.A rested body is better able to hold higher than normal voltage, and to make aligned decisions.

2. Feed the body—it carries the light.

Drink lots of water. Eat real food. Eat more if that’s what your body wants. Listen to your body and give it what it needs without judgment.

A nourished body can hold more energy—an under-nourished body distorts perception and risks collapsing your field.

3. Clear out the debris.

Heat helps discharge extra energy, including whatever your energy system is ready to clear out.

Hot baths with epsom salt. Steam. Sauna. Long showers. Exercise that makes you sweat.

Lean into whatever you have access to that helps you clear out energetic debris from your field, and do it every day if you can.

4. Ground like you mean it.

Light when unanchored scatters and fragments.

You probably have grounding practices that work for you. If so, lean on them.

If not, or if you feel called to try something new, here’s a quick reset practice (which you can do literally anywhere in about 1 minute):

Sit or stand upright.

Feel the weight of your feet/sit bones.

Visualize roots extending down from your feet/sit bones into the Earth.

Then visualize a vertical pillar of light moving up your spine and out the crown of your head.

Remember you are the conduit: Earth below. Sky above.

Mantra: I am grounded. I am in my body. I am in the present moment.

5. Crystal recs.

Obsidian | Hematite | Black tourmaline | Smoky quartz

All are supportive for grounding.

How to use a grounding crystal (if you feel called): wear it on your body.… put it in your purse… hold it in meditation… or keep it near you in your workspace.

Recap—the larger collective reorientation underway.

As I wrote about last month, there’s a lot of ongoing change energy already in the collective field that this eclipse season comes on top of.

Most immediately: within days of this first Aquarius eclipse, Saturn and Neptune meet at zero degrees of Aries. At the same time, with Pluto moving through Aquarius, and Uranus—which rules the Aquarius eclipse—also squaring it, we can expect this eclipse to be an ignition point for the larger realignment we’ve been witnessing begin to take shape over the past several months.

You can read more about the larger turning of the ages / collective realignment we’re moving through here, but here’s a quick hit list for the larger energetic context:

·    The systems we’ve had in place—politically, socially, legally—are being tested. What falls apart won’t collapse randomly, but/and what isn’t alignment with the energy of the new paradigm will give way.

·    We’re in a battle of imaginations about what society we want to be—and who’s part of the we.

·    We’re on the brink of a leap in collective consciousness—from ego-centered to soul-centered (the I —> we themes above). Collective upheaval will only continue to jolt more people to wake up.

·    With that comes the invitation—and imperative—to birth a new dream. To vision and take steps towards bringing into reality a new social contract and societal structures that reflect the truth of our interconnectedness.

Eclipses act as ignition points for larger ongoing energy shifts—so we can expect this eclipse portal to be a significant moment in the larger story of these (and other ongoing) shifts.
